More than just a certification, this recognition reinforces the company's organizational culture, in which sustainability is embedded in every stage of its operations and strategic decision-making.

"The Zero Landfill Certification symbolizes the commitment of our employees, partners, and suppliers to responsible environmental management. This recognition motivates us to continue advancing our ESG journey and to continuously seek solutions that create value for the environment, society, and our customers."

Sulplast extends its gratitude to the Grupo Eco Primos for the partnership built over the years and reaffirms its commitment to initiatives that promote environmental preservation, the responsible use of natural resources, and the creation of a more sustainable future for generations to come.

SULPLAST electricfies forklift fleet

publicado em 10/04/2024 às 09:05:38

By deploying a fleet of 100% electric forklifts, Sulplast has reduced its CO2 emissions from internal logistics operations by approximately 55%.

Moreover, besides reducing pollutant emissions, Pedro Luiz Biancardi, the company’s CEO, highlights that this initiative also enhances operational efficiency and improves the quality of the working environment: "The lithium battery-powered forklifts that we use have a range of approximately 10 hours and can be fully charged in about 2 hours. Furthermore, unlike combustion engines, they operate silently and do not emit odorous gases. This undoubtedly makes the day-to-day work of operators much more pleasant, productive, and sustainable."

This initiative, combined with the adoption of renewable energy sources and other socio-environmental programs, is part of a comprehensive project undertaken by Sulplast. The aim is to gradually decarbonize operations and achieve net-zero emissions.
